By Sea

P&0 Ferries sail to Hull from the Netherlands and Belgium. Newcastle serves. DFDS Seaways from the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.

Enter "Heads Road, Stape" and follow the signs.

From the East (Thronton-le-dale and Scarborough direction)
If you are heading from the East on the A170 towards Pickering:

• Drive through Pickering and go straight over the roundabout.
• At the first set of traffic lights take a right towards Newton-Upon- Rawcliffe.
• You will pass the steam railway on the left.
• Follow the road through Newton-Upon-Rawcliffe and carry on into Stape.
• Drive through Stape, and at the ford, turn right onto Heads Road (signposted Cropton Forest Lodge).
Follow the road and at the next T-Junction, turn right (signposted Cropton Forest Lodge).
• Follow the road for 1.5 miles and it brings you into the car park.

From the South (Malton and York direction)
If you are heading from the South on the A169 towards Pickering:

• Drive into Pickering and go left at the roundabout.

From the West (Kirbymooreside and Thirsk direction)
If you are heading from the West on the A170 towards Pickering:

• Drive through Pickering and at the first set of traffic lights take a left towards Newton-Upon- Rawcliffe.
• You will pass the steam railway on the left.
• Follow the road through Newton-Upon-Rawcliffe and carry on into Stape.
• Drive through Stape, and at the ford, turn right onto Heads Road (signposted Cropton Forest Lodge).
• Follow the road and at the next T-Junction, turn right (signposted Cropton Forest Lodge).
• Follow the road for 1.5 miles and it brings you into the car park.
